Peer-Review Policy, Editorial Board Governance & Publication Ethics
This page documents the formal peer-review procedures, editorial board governance, and ethical standards of the LimeWire Open Research & Digital Preservation Series, published by Brightline Interactive Pte. Ltd., in compliance with the ERIC Selection Policy (May 2024, Criteria: Peer Review & Publisher Evaluation, pp. 4–5, 10).
1. Two-Stage Expert & Double-Blind Peer-Review Process
- Stage 1 — Methodological & Reproducibility Audit: Every submitted manuscript, curriculum guide, and dataset (`DS-1` through `DS-8`) undergoes automated schema validation (`datapackage.json`), ISO 19005 PDF/A conformance testing (/tools/archive-pdf), and statistical replication verification (/tools/pdf-to-excel).
- Stage 2 — External Scholarly Peer Review: Qualifying manuscripts are evaluated by a minimum of two independent reviewers with scholarly university affiliations and doctoral credentials in the relevant ERIC Topic Area. Reviewers evaluate theoretical rigor, empirical validity, instructional utility, and adherence to the 5-element ERIC abstract standard across multiple rounds of revision. Editorial review alone is never designated as peer reviewed.
