Generation is paid for in credits: one image costs 60, and every account gets 60 credits a week, which is the same allowance on the free plan and on both paid plans.

Sign in and open AI Studio. An account is needed because credits are tied to one.

Choose a model and write your prompt
Pick Google Gemini 2.5 for prompts written as detailed instructions, or Stable Diffusion Core, Ultra or XL 1.0 for a different look. Describe the subject, the style and what to avoid.

Generate and download
The image comes back at full resolution. Credits are only spent when a generation succeeds, and the result can be shared as a link straight away.

Is the AI Image Generator free?
There is a free allowance rather than unlimited free use: every account gets 60 credits a week and one image costs 60 credits, so that is one image a week at no cost. Credits are only spent when a generation succeeds.
Does a paid plan give me more images?
No. The weekly AI allowance is the same on Free, Pro and Pro+. Paid plans raise transfer size, storage and link lifetime; they do not change the number of generations.
Can I buy extra credits?
No. One-off credit packages were removed and there is no top-up. Credits return with the weekly refill.
Which models can I choose?
Google Gemini 2.5 and Stable Diffusion Core, Ultra and XL 1.0. The list in AI Studio is the authoritative one; models named on other pages, such as DALL-E, Imagen or BlueWillow, are not available here.
Do the images have a watermark?
No. Generated images come back at full resolution without a watermark.
